The pandemic has presented a turning point in our way of life in Australia. Out with nine to five and in with remote work and the four day week. All of it enabled by new technologies, broadband and video conferencing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fusion of work and home and younger demographics increasingly assertive about how they want to work raises many questions about collaboration, innovation, productivity and also well-being.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deloitte’s second <\/span>Well-Being at Work Survey<\/span><\/a>, conducted with Workplace Intelligence, found that organisations struggle to improve employee well-being. Leaders inaccurately believe their workforce’s well-being has improved since COVID restrictions were lifted.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Over 80% of respondents prioritise improving their well-being, but obstacles hinder their progress.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The survey identifies three keys to unlocking workforce well-being: empowering managers, setting meaningful goals, and adopting a long-term approach. Organisations prioritising human sustainability create value for workers and society.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
