The Oval is the ideal place to set up your ongoing team practice, training, or your seasonal matches. Perfect for soccer and football, the Oval features its' own Clubhouse where you can set up (yes, we've hosted children's birthday parties here, too!) and outdoor barbecue area. Nestled in amongst the gumtrees, you'll feel like you're miles away from civilization - the Oval is the ideal space to get away from the daily grind and get your sweat on. Plenty of onsite parking means you never have to worry about accessibility. The space is available most Mon - Fri from 9 am to 2.30 pm and in the evenings from 6 pm to 10 pm. It is also available on Saturdays from 1 pm to 10 pm and Sundays all day. Each request to book will be considered on a case-by-case basis and be compliant with internal and external laws and regulations (insurance, working with children checks, etc).

About the organisation

The Gillick Sports Complex is an integrated facility offering indoor hall with 2 basketball​/​ netball courts, 10 outdoor tennis​/​ basketball​/​ netball courts, Olympic-standard hockey turf, an indoor aquatic centre and 4 football​/​ rugby fields. A part of the Frensham campus is now open to the community to enjoy. Coming from the North, continue past Frensham School’s boarding houses, the facilities are situated just behind the main school with access from Range Road adjacent to Centenary Pool.
