Looking for the perfect outdoor space close to all the amenities Parramatta City Centre has to offer? Look no further! The Garden is ideal for intimate ceremonies, vow renewals, and even proposals! And, if you're looking to celebrate with a meal afterwards, you're a ten-minute walk from Parramatta's best restaurants. The garden hosts one of the largest collections of heritage roses in NSW with the best flowering display occurring annually in October ​/​ November and May. The garden is located near the Macquarie Street Gatehouse. Please note: - Access to the site is only for the time of your booking. - No access for setting up is allowed before and must be included in your booking time. Consider your complete ceremony from setting up to departure in your booked timeframe. - Wedding ceremony bookings cater up to groups up 50 people (including adults and children). - Rumsey Rose Garden is available for the ceremony only, and not a wedding venue that you would use for a reception. You are welcome to organize for an external supplier to bring in chairs, small signatory table, one wedding sign and a small PA for the ceremony (please note that this must be low volume as it cannot impact other park users). About the organisation

World Heritage-listed Parramatta Park is 85 hectares of lawns and gardens, historic monuments, outdoor event spaces, and sporting and leisure facilities. The park is one of the earliest gazetted public parks in Australia, dedicated as a park in 1857. Home to the Burramattagal, the park’s ancient cultural landscape has provided food, shelter and resources for close to 40,000 years.
