Runaway Bay Cricket Club offers everything you need to make your occasion unforgettable. Whether it's a wedding, engagement, corporate event, sporting event, birthday celebration, fundraising event, presentation, baby shower, or any other function, we provide a picturesque setting, quality amenities, and exceptional service. The Club holds a liquor license and has a wide range of beverage choices. Please speak with us if there are specific beverages that your attendees may prefer. BYO drinks are not permissible in the Clubhouse or clubgrounds. We can host sit-down functions or stand-up cocktail style functions. Catering can be provided by the Club if required. Kitchen facilities available if required. The Club has expansive space outdoors with capacity for marquee placement, at guest expense. The Club has a stage, dance floor and plenty of space for a band, DJ, photo booth, or juke box. The Clubhouse and surrounds are smoke free, with smoking only permitted in designated smoking areas. Runaway Bay Cricket Club reserves the right to request that security be provided, at guest expense.

About the organisation

The Runaway Bay Cricket Club is a beloved family sporting club with over 300 members on the Gold Coast. In addition to our clubhouse we have seven large and spacious sporting fields which have been used for tournaments and film and television locations.

Our club has fast WIFI, and audio visual equipment that is easy to set up.

Transport features

We have a large carpark which can fit over a hundred vehicles. With parking spaces located all throughout the sporting precinct too.
