Set directly on Seven Mile Beach, Shoalhaven Heads Surf Life Saving Club is one of the South Coast's most distinctive event venues. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping ocean views, while the spacious hall with its parquetry dance floor and exposed timber roof beams creates an elegant coastal setting for up to 80 guests. Roller blinds provide privacy and darkening for presentations or intimate ceremonies when needed. A private grassed area leads directly onto the beach, offering a relaxed outdoor extension for pre-dinner drinks or a quiet moment. A rear terrace catches the afternoon sunset across Cullunghutti (Coolangatta) Mountain a rare backdrop that no function centre can offer. The club hall is well-supported by local Shoalhaven caterers and event suppliers, and sits close to holiday accommodation throughout the Shoalhaven Heads area — making logistics easy for guests travelling from Sydney, Wollongong, or the ACT. Venue hire is $650 per day. Sessional multi-date bookings at an hourly rate are also available on enquiry. Concessional rates may apply to eligible Shoalhaven Heads-based community groups and not-for-profit organisations. Current full club members of 2+ consecutive seasons may also apply for a concessional rate.

About the organisation

Shoalhaven Heads Surf Life Saving Club (SHSLSC) is a community not for profit surf life saving club located right on Seven Mile Beach, Shoalhaven Heads NSW. Volunteer members patrol the beach each Sunday and on public holidays throughout the patrol season. Income from hire of this space goes directly to SHSLSC to support local volunteer life saving services and the training and development of volunteer life savers to provide public safety in our community
