Purple Poppy is a private, soundproof boardroom in Nowra, built for focused meetings, confidential consultations and small-group training for up to 12 people. Located within the Shoalhaven Veteran and Family Hub on Wallace Street, the room features modular rectangular tables that can be arranged to suit your session, and a large-screen TV with full HDMI connectivity and sound for presentations and video content. Your booking includes access to the Hub's kitchen, tea and coffee facilities and bathrooms. Access to the outdoor BBQ area and kids play area can be arranged on request, making the space practical for family-inclusive sessions. The Hub operates as a drop-in centre from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. After-hours access and exclusive use of the Hub are available by arrangement. Current and former serving Defence members and their families, ex-service organisations and not-for-profit groups are eligible for discounted rates. Please mention your eligibility when booking. Please note: alcohol is not permitted on site. Ideal for: Professional meetings and board meetings: Committee, board or team meetings for up to 12 attendees in a private setting. Training and workshops: Small-group training, classes and facilitated sessions using the HDMI-connected screen. Counselling and client consultations: A soundproof environment suited to confidential one-on-one or small-group appointments. Ex-service and not-for-profit gatherings: Meetings for veteran organisations, community groups and charities at discounted rates. Remote work and freelancing: A quiet, professional workspace for remote employees, freelancers or individual study. Brainstorming and collaborative sessions: Flexible table layouts for strategy days, planning sessions and team collaboration. About the organisation

The Shoalhaven Veteran and Family Hub in Nowra is operated by RSL LifeCare's charitable arm, with support from RSL NSW. It supports current and former Defence members and their families through wellbeing, education and employment, equine, housing, DVA advocacy and events programs. All rooms may be hired by the community and hire income funds new programs.
