Toowoon Bay Surf Life Saving Club offers one of the Central Coast's most distinctive event spaces — a full-floor venue with uninterrupted ocean views, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a covered verandah just steps from the beach. Located at Toowoon Bay, 90 km north of Sydney, the space accommodates up to 130 guests and suits everything from intimate baby showers, celebrations, birthday parties***, engagement, wedding ceremony​/​reception, and family reunions. Unlike most hired venues, Toowoon Bay SLSC allows BYO caterers and BYO alcohol, giving event organisers complete flexibility over food and beverage. The open-plan, neutral interior works equally well for elegant receptions and relaxed family celebrations. Multiple accommodation options are available nearby, making it a practical choice for out-of-town guests. Full-day hire runs from 9 am to 11:30 pm. Hourly hire is also available with a six-hour minimum. Every booking supports a not-for-profit volunteer lifesaving club serving the local community. Concessional rates are available for SLSC members, community groups, NFP organisations, and regular-use groups such as yoga or fitness classes. The hire cost for the hall for the full day is $3,740.00 and this is from 9am – 11.30pm. A refundable $1,500.00 bond is included in this cost along with cleaning and one security guard. A deposit of $300.00 will secure the date for you, and the balance of the hire will need to be paid 28 days from the date of your event. We also have an hourly hire rate of $120.00​/​hour plus GST, with a minimum of 6 hours, and please allow for set up and pack down in the hourly rate (usual hire for engagement​/​birthday parties is between 8-10 hours). In addition to hiring, you would also need to allow for $1,500.00 refundable bond, $220.00 for after cleaning and $220.00 for one compulsory venue contracted security guard. One compulsory venue contracted security guard (one security guard for 4 hours) is required for wedding receptions, and extra security guards can be organised at an additional cost for functions of more than 100 people. Please note that it is TBSLSC policy that two security guards be engaged for “parties”, ie engagement, 30th, 40th, etc. TBSLSC prefers that hirees use Club contracted bar staff (additional fee). **** Birthday parties between the ages of 16 and 25 are prohibited. As are hens​/​bucks parties. Toowoon Bay SLSC members may apply for a concessional rate. Concessional rates offered to community groups, NFP's and exercise​/​yoga classes. Corporate rates also available. A club representative will contact you once this has been received to discuss options with you. A booking invoice will not be raised and payable until the club has received your deposit and hall hire agreement. There is no charge before this stage, but the agreement must be returned within 7 days of the enquiry to secure your booking request.
