Marine Rescue NSW is safeguarding lives and making its spaces easy to hire

Marine Rescue NSW is a not-for-profit volunteer-based emergency service organisation dedicated to saving lives on the water. Its 3,400 volunteers dedicate their time to providing marine search, rescue, and communication services to the boating community in NSW. This vital organisation provides boaters and their loved ones with reassurance knowing highly trained volunteers remain rescue-ready 365 days a year.

As a community-based organisation, Marine Rescue NSW provides services and resources that enhance safety on the water. It also offers training programs, community education, and marine safety initiatives.

Marine Rescue NSW operates 46 strategically located Units from Point Danger to Eden, on inland rivers at Alpine Lakes and Moama and Lord Howe Island. Many Marine Rescue NSW Units provide facilities, including training spaces, meeting rooms, and community hubs where volunteers and the public can gather, learn, and engage in activities.

In partnership with Vennu, Marine Rescue NSW has commenced making its facilities available for booking. These spaces can be utilised by individuals, small businesses, corporations, and community groups, offering easily accessible options for various purposes. From remote working locations, meeting rooms, and training spaces, to social gatherings like family reunions and community events, the spaces are versatile and available to all.

Vennu helps maximise the benefits of hiring underutilised spaces, turning them into valuable community assets. With added benefits such as generating additional revenue and enhancing community engagement, Vennu positions Marine Rescue NSW (and its listings) at the heart of local communities, connecting people and places.

If you’re looking for a unique space for your next event or activity, Vennu and Marine Rescue NSW can deliver!
